Satisfaction of HC Sparta Praha ice hockey players

Title: Satifaction of HC Sparta Praha ice hockey players Objectives: The main aim of bachelor thesis is to chart satisfaction of ice hockey players in A team of HC Sparta Praha. Based on the results of the questionnaire some recommendations that would help the current situation will be made. Methods: Questionnaires were used for research of player's satisfaction in HC Sparta Praha, where the satisfaction with different factors and services that are offered by the team management were investigated. Data collection was carried out directly in the spaces of the cloakroom of A team after their training on June 5, 2015. Results: It was found out that the majority of players in HC Sparta Praha are rather satisfied. It is necessary to improve certain factors in order to achieve the absolute satisfaction of players. The research was attended by 31 respondents and the obtained data is shown in tables and graphs within the results part of the thesis. Players are satisfied with the equipment and environment the most, on other hand way they are the least satisfied with finances and rewards. Proposal for improving the game day experience in the ELH based on the NHL

Title: Proposal for improving the game day experience in the ELH based on the NHL Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to suggest the program arrangement of the game day for the visitors of the Czech hockey league. The thesis targets on new features appropriate for the Czech environment but also for the improvement of the current ones. Another goal of the thesis is to describe the attitude of the game day management teams to the accompanying program in ELH and NHL which represent the image of the league itself. Methods: The main sources for collecting the data are as the following: a structured observation and in-depth interviews. All of the information is collected based on the questions created for the purpose of the thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the literature sources and the consultations with experts in the field of the Czech and Canadian-American icehockey. Results: The main result of the diploma thesis is the suggestion for the improvement of the gameday program of the club HC Sparta Praha. The suggestion was prepared based on the analysis using the methods stated above. The suggestion includes elements usable in front of the arena before the game starts. Marketing and communication strategy of the hockey club HC Sparta Prague

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the current marketing and communication strategy of the hockey club HC Sparta Prague, especially its marketing activities and projects and its communication with the public. Also the aim of the thesis is to find out the awareness of the club's fans of these activities and subsequently to evaluate the current marketing and communication strategy based on the author's own marketing research and to suggest own ideas on improvement this strategy. The theoretical part is focused on defining terms as marketing, marketing and communication mix, SWOT analysis and the specifics of the sport marketing and the importance of promotion and sponsorship in the sport branch. The practical part contains basic information about the hockey club HC Sparta Prague and its history, its SWOT analysis and analysis of current marketing activities and projects. At the end of the thesis is evaluated the marketing research, which was made by the author among the fans of the club. On the basis of the research are suggested own ideas for improvement the marketing and communication strategy of the club.

Attendance analysis of HC Sparta Praha

In bachelor thesis I investigate seasonal match attendance of HC Sparta Praha ice-hockey team in seasons 2002/2003 to 2012/2013 and the individual match attendance in seasons 2008/2009 to 2012/2013. The acquired data were processed by regression analysis and the effects of attendance determinants were quantified using OLS-method (ordinary least squares). The team rivalry and the prestigious players' appearance in match belong to the most significant factors. By derby-matches the attendance increased by almost 59%. On the other hand, there has not been found any coherency between the attendance and ticket price -- which gives to the Sparta's management a very good range for maneuvering regarding pricing policy.
Marketing and Commercial Communications of the Hockey Club Sparta Prague

The main purpose of the thesis is to describe and analyze the marketing and communication strategies of the hockey club HC Sparta Prague. The thesis comprises two parts -- theoretical and practical. Talking about the theoretical chapters, marketing and commercial communications, their role and so called marketing mix are described in there. The practical part of the thesis aims at the target groups, marketing goals description and analysis of the singular tools of the marketing mix. However, the very fundamental chapter comprises the interpretation of the past campaigns applied during the season 2009/2010. The last part focuses on some new topics and ideas to be introduced during the forthcoming season.
Financial analysis of the hockey club

The aim of this bachelor thesis is financial analysis of the extra-hockey league club HC Sparta Praha a.s. .The theoretical part deals with a subject of financial analysis, users of financial analysis, information sources, methods used during the process of financial analysis and aspects of a sport branch.The practical part applies methods of the theoretical part on concrete values and results are compared with the whole branch and other extra --hockey league club HC MOELLER Pardubice. Dissimilarities of sport business are reflected on results. This thesis should valorize economy of this club and explain reasons of indebtedness of Czech clubs.
